Education at Borde Hill
We are pleased to offer educational projects for schools for various aspects
of the curriculum. Each project is based closely on the
requirements of the National Curriculum, and provides a stimulating and
inspirational learning experience in this magnificent Garden.
Also available is a family tree trail, focussing on the
champion trees and plant collectors who played such an important part in the
development of the Garden.

Teachers information and
activity sheets for children:
1. Science – Landscape & Plants
Key Stage I
and II Pupils will explore plant life processes: growth, nutrition and
reproduction.
2. Maths – Shapes & Structures
Key Stage I and II
Children will look at patterns, shapes and tessellation.
3. Art/Sculpture –
Do you see what I see?
Key Stage
I and II Pupils can observe, record sculptures of the garden, and design
their own.
