EASTER TRAIL
AT BORDE HILL GARDEN
29th March – 18th April 2010
The
EASTER BUNNY TRAIL will once again
be taking place within the beautiful setting of Borde Hill Garden,
Haywards Heath, throughout the Easter holidays from Monday 29th
March to Sunday, 18th April and is perfect for children aged 3 – 11
years. Each child who finds the Easter Bunnies hidden around the
Garden and solves the word or picture puzzle which each Bunny holds
will be rewarded with a delicious chocolate Easter egg.
This great day out is not just a treat for the children however - parents accompanying the youngsters around the Garden can enjoy the extensive collection of camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons which are magnificent at this time of year. Thousands of Spring-flowering bulbs and plants will also make an impressive display in the formal Garden and the ancient Woodland.
If the Trail isn’t enough exercise for them, the children can use up their surplus energy in the Pirates’ Adventure Playground with its Wild West Fort, Tree Top Walkway and Obstacle Course. Toddlers are entertained in the ‘safe sand pit’ area. Café Elvira serves morning coffee, delicious home cooked lunches and Sussex cream teas, whilst The Green Tree Gallery is ideal for art and crafts.
Entry to the Garden, which includes the Easter activities and the Pirates’ Adventure Playground, is £7.50 per adult, £6.50 Senior Citizens and £4.50 per child. Friends of Borde Hill Garden tickets cost £22.00 per adult and £13.00 per child and provide free Garden and Playground entry throughout the season 2010. Borde Hill Garden is easily accessible by road and rail, with direct services from London Victoria and the South Coast.
