[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Admire the beauty of the Rose Garden at its peak; a real feast for the senses with 750 David Austin rose plants and 100 varieties filling the air with a glorious fragrance.

The Rose Garden, designed by Robin Williams and planted in 1996, contains the most valued and popular roses developed by David Austin, including Gertrude Jekyll, Winchester Cathedral and Graham Thomas. It also contains the most popular roses sold in the last 12 months in the UK including Olivia Rose Austin, Lady Emma Hamilton and Darcy Bussell.

Head Gardener, Andy Stevens, says “Jay Robin’s Rose Garden is undoubtedly the main highlight of the summer displays, with the sight and fragrance of over 750 David Austin roses being something to behold.”

During our Rose Celebration Weeks, we will be offering visitors hints and tips to help you grow your own beautiful roses at home.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Specialist Gifts

Children's Outdoor Theatre: Mr Stink

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text]David Walliams’ best-seller Mr Stink is coming to Borde Hill Garden with an open air theatre production staged by Heartbreak Productions.

Description:
You’re invited to celebrate Annabelle’s 10th birthday, hosted by everyone’s favourite MP candidate, Janet Crumb! (Almost) everyone is welcome… that is, everyone apart from Chloe’s particularly smelly new friend, Mr Stink.

One perfectly normal afternoon in an average English town two restless souls unite on a park bench – one of them the lonely 12 year old Chloe Crumb and the other an incredibly smelly homeless man. Oh, and let’s not forget his loyal dog, the Duchess. Chloe’s curiosity and kindness pave the way for this extraordinary and rewarding friendship that takes them to the heady heights of live television and Downing Street via a garden shed.

Pack a picnic, grab a chair and dress for the weather. Packed with fun, humour and a heart-warming message, this touching tale provides the perfect family entertainment.

Performed on the South Lawn against the backdrop of the Elizabethan Mansion House, Heartbreak Productions’ version of this popular children’s book is suitable for children aged 7+.
