Join one of the world’s leading rose experts, Michael Marriott, previously Head Rosarian at David Austin Roses, for this highly recommended rose pruning workshop.
Looking at the theory of pruning all types of roses, including old and modern shrub roses, climbers and ramblers, this workshop will help develop your knowledge to ensure your roses perform to their fullest potential, yielding beautiful displays of blooms.
The workshop will also include practical demonstrations in the Rose Garden at Borde Hill, giving you the skills and confidence you need to be able to get the best from your own roses at home.
No prior knowledge is required, as we will guide you step by step through the process. Please bring warm clothing, as part of the talk will be demonstrated in the Garden, along with your own secateurs and gardening gloves.
Following the Workshop, enjoy a sandwich and a warming bowl of soup (included) served inside the Garden Marquee.
